How can I start a Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) business in India (Mumbai) and how to get clients? |
I am a lawyer. I have been working in an LPO in Mumbai. I have the skills and resources to start my own LPO on a small scale. Wish to know how to market Indian lawyers potential as a cheap back office provider?
A LPO can be started on a very small scale at your home also.
It is well recomended to develop intial contacts through resources like internet and friends.
An marketing strategy should be developed to target the customers.
Initially focus on a particular field like trademarks, copyright or patents.
Not necessary you should be able to do all of the given work but get it done through some one else professionally since it will increase your repute of completing the target.
Accepting all the assigmnets given and getting the done will generate turn-over but not income. Since turn-over will only give you the repute for your future development rather than considering the initial gains.
as the turn over will increase the repute will also increase and the you will get the calls automatically.
It really needs a patience of 3-4 years.
Anothe strategy for faster growth of this business is to employ a marketing person for it who can roam arround and fetch some projects but it again depends on you funds that you are putting in.
But I wonder what else do you have in your mind about the same.

Is it true that Obama wants to tax outsourcing companies? |
I read from an answer on Y/A:
"[Obama plans on] taxing the companies that outsource and then giving the money to other growing corporations. He wants to focus on building the new companies up. Therefore, more jobs are created, and more AMERICANS can get jobs."
By the way, outsourcing is when you employ people from out of the country.
Is this true? Does it work? Will the ratio of fired employees of big companies to hired employees of small companies balance/imbalance?

hello.. i am new here and this would be my first question…..
I have a question about my assignment:
is offshore outsourcing is the same with onshore outsourcing?
The only difference:
Onshore outsourcing is the obtaining of services from someone outside a company but within the same country; while offshore outsourcing is the practice of hiring an external organization to perform some business functions in a country other than the one where the products or services are actually developed or manufactures.

How much does Recruitment Process Outsourcing typically cost a company? |
This cost could be total or per person. Where do i find this information? I have been searching on google and reading different company profiles. they all talk about ROI and how this saves costs, but they don’t mention how much it costs. I need this for a report i am doing on Target about possible recruitment strategies for the company. Any help would be much appreciated!
Per Person cost will be range for 30% to 60% of industry standard Permanent Placement or Executive Search fees; depending on the total number of services requested.
